ABSTRACT

Transportation system are experiencing steady  growth, with the aim of providing more efficient, reliable and  comfortable services, in the framework of Intelligent  Transportation Systems. Moreover, context aware environments  are one of the main drivers in the achievement of Smart Cities and Smart Regions. In this work, mobile based information update for Urban Transportation Systems will be analyzed in terms of impact behavior and system performance. A practical solution has been implemented, combining an Android based application and a System Level Architecture over Urban Train  Transportation environmental monitoring, providing interaction between users and the environment, with the aid of a combined  platform as well as an implemented software  architecture, scalable in terms of user density and future needs.

Automatic Privacy Leakage Detection

ABSTRACT

Android apps frequently leak private data off the device with or without intentions. Researchers have proposed a large number of methods, for example, static and dynamic analysis methods, to pick out the apps which tend to leak private data. However, they are only able to identify part of private data leakage vulnerabilities, due to the dynamic features in codes or code coverage problem. This paper presents a novel hybrid approach that can find out more private data leakages than the existing static or dynamic methods. The approach, realized
in a tool, called HybriDroid, which employs both static and dynamic analysis methods to extract the models of each apps, and then refines the behavior model to a more adequate one according to the dynamic analysis result. As a consequence, HybriDroid inherits the advantages of both static and dynamic analysis methods, which not only achieves a high code coverage, but also can deal with the dynamic features in codes. The evaluation results show that HybriDroid is effective in detecting privacy leakages for both inter- and intra-app communication. Comparing with the existing methods, it can achieve considerable improvements in data leakage detection performance with a 97.8% precision and 90% recall on the selected apps fromDroidBench 3.0 test suite.

My Privacy My Decision: Control of Photo Sharing on Online Social Networks


Abstract

—Photo sharing is an attractive feature which popularizes Online Social Networks (OSNs). Unfortunately, it may leak users’ privacy if they are allowed to post, comment, and tag a photo freely. In this paper, we attempt to address this issue and study the scenario when a user shares a photo containing individuals other than himself/herself (termed co-photo for short). To prevent possible privacy leakage of a photo, we design a mechanism to enable each individual in a photo be aware of the posting activity and participate in the decision making on the photo posting. For this purpose, we need an efficient facial recognition (FR) system that can recognize everyone in the photo. However, more demanding privacy setting may limit the number of the photos publicly available to train the FR system. To deal with this dilemma, our mechanism attempts to utilize users’ private photos to design a personalized FR system specifically trained to differentiate possible photo co-owners without leaking their privacy. We also develop a distributed consensus- based method to reduce the computational complexity and protect the private training set. We show that our system is superior to other possible approaches in terms of recognition ratio and efficiency. Our mechanism is implemented as a proof of concept Android
application on Facebook’s platform.

The developed project or the software application  allows the student to select their exam timetable online and view the seating arrangement for the exam. In this project student can also generate there Hall Ticket by giving input such as Branch, year, semester, and Roll No of student. The developed system is evaluated using real data by prospective users of the  system.

Abstract

Tracking of organization buses while moving on highway is a crucial task. A person patiently waiting for the bus may want to enquire about the position of current location of the bus. Phone discussion is not always possible due to traffic disturbances. Further it involves variant costs due to the calls and message service over phone and the person in the bus may get annoyed if he gets multiple calls from people boarding that bus. Mobile based Bus Tracking System provides a solution to this problem which helps anyone to retrieve the location of the bus without calling or disturbing the person travelling in the bus. The people boarding the bus and the coordinators of the bus should own an android driven mobile phone with internet connectivity. The Global Positioning System (GPS) supports in area following with backing of Global Standard for Mobile (GSM) in cellular telephone to report transport area information again to the servers. Continuously, this shows where transports are on a guide and evaluation the entry time and separation with reference to holding up stop by utilizing propelled gimmicks of Internet. The function of proposed system is to provide an economical, flexible and reliable system for bus tracking.

It is an online diagnostic lab manager application that brings up various diagnoses working online. Here patients get an option to register on the site and login using registered details. Once registered with their address and contact details, the patients may now see a variety of tests conducted by the lab along with their costs. The system allows patients to do the bookings for various tests like CBC, Blood Glucose, KFT, and LFT. The tests also consist of parameters like Hemoglobin, WBC, etc. The system allows users to book any test needed and after successful booking, system calculates costs and allows users to pay online. As soon as the payment is done, the patient test is booked and the lab may now collected samples from patients registered address. After successful testing, the patient or the user gets a notification of test result through an email. The system allows admin to attach a copy of the report into the system and automatically email it to intended patient.

In this  system, kitchen staff can check all customer orders by the dish  that was ordered and the elapsed time of each order. Moreover,  dining hall workers can grasp their customer situation with a  monitor. By introducing this system to a restaurant, we  confirmed that it can make preparation processes more efficient and reduce customers’ claims.

However, the existing systems were limited to storing  medicine recommendation of pharmacy. Therefore, this paper  introduces eMedichine Prescription  which is a personalized family  medicine recommendation which runs on mobile platform. Personalized here refers to the function provided where it allows  the users to customize the system to manage medicine recommendation  for their family usage. Interview method has been applied for  requirement gathering analysis. All requirements have been  classified into functional and non-functional requirements and  then depicted in the form of  Unified Modelling Language (UML)  diagrams for development purposes

Mobile Based Facial Recognition Using OTP Verification for Voting System


Abstract—As we know in urban areas now a day the voting system is getting most complicated only because of the person’s identity. They only have the voting card as a proof of identification. So there are lots of chances of fake voting. To avoid this we are developing this project which will store the identity of the voters using android mobile through facial recognition systems. This system will capture faces of the voters and match with the existing faces in the stored database. After the confirmation of valid face detected, the OTP (One- Time Password) is generated and send to the voters registered mobile number. Then the voter is validated and he is allowed to do the voting. This is very fast and helpful technique to do the verification of the voters. This will also reduce voter’s time to stand in queue for doing vote.

It has also a facility where student after logging in their accounts can see list of books issued and its issue date and return date and also the students can request the librarian to add new books by filling the book request form.The librarian after logging into his account ie admin account can generate various reports such as student report , issue report, teacher report and book report Overall this project of ours is being developed to help the students as well as staff of library to maintain the library in the best way possible and also reduce the human efforts.

Veterinary Care System



ABSTRACT

“Vet Care” is an application which is simple and easy to use. Users that are registered can send the symptoms of his pet/animal to the doctor and get responds. This application is useful for distant areas. Farmer has to register first and has to subscribe. Farmer will freely subscribe to Govt. CVHs. The user has to pay fee if user will subscribe to the private clinic’s doctor. There will be images of influenced animals with basic diseases and their prescriptions.

We are developing a system which is useful for layman. “Vet Care” is an android application which is useful for both doctor and users. Farmer has to send his animal’s signs and symptoms to doctor in video, audio, images or text form. The doctor will receive the farmer’s requests and responds. The user’s data will be automatically added to the database. Farmer has to register first and has to subscribe. Farmer will freely subscribe to Govt. CVHs. He has to pay fee if he will subscribe to the private clinic’s doctor. There will be two payment gateways for the users, bank transfer (Doctor will provide his bank information while creating his profile) and easy paisa. Doctors will provide their bank details for payments. He can also provide easy paisa account details. There will be images of influenced animals with basic diseases and their prescriptions. On the basis of recorded data, the system can perform analysis that which disease attacks on pets mostly in a specific area.

Leakage Detection and Risk Assessment

                   ABSTRACT



How to identify and manage information leakage of user privacy is a very crucial and sensitive topic for handheld mobile device manufacturers, telecommunication companies, and mobile device users. As the success of a financial fraud usually requires possessing a victim’s private information, new types of personal identity theft and private information acquirement attack are developed and deployed along with various Apps in order to steal personal private information from mobile device users. With more than 50% of smartphone market share, Android-based mobile phone vendors and Internet service providers have to face the new challenge on user privacy management. In this paper, we present a user privacy analysis framework for an Android platform called LRPdroid. The goals of LRPdroid are to achieve information leakage detection, user privacy disclosure evaluation, and privacy risk assessment for Apps installed on Android-based mobile devices. With a formally defined user privacy model, LRPdroid can effectively support mobile users to manage their own privacy risks on targeted Apps. In addition, new privacy analysis viewpoints such as user perception and leakage awareness are introduced in LRPdroid. Two general App usage scenarios are evaluated with our system prototype to show the feasibility and practicability of the LRPdroid framework on user privacy management.

Toll gate payment system have been of great assistance in lessening the over congestion that has become a part of the metropolitan cities these days. It is one of the uncomplicated ways to manage the great rum of traffic. The travelers passing through this mode of transport, carried by their transport that allows them to be aware of the account of the money that has been paid and the money left in the tag.

 It relieves the traveler of the burden of waiting in the queue to make the toll payment, which decreases the fuel-consumption and also taking cash with them can be avoided. Our system avoids this type of problems, user he gate pass from online so user doesn’t need to wait the tollgate.

             The Land Registration Project seeks to facilitate the orderly development of transparent land markets, through the registration of real estate rights, and complementary policies that enable transactions to be made with security and efficiency. It will thus help remove current impediments to investments in urban areas, and, also produce property titles in rural areas. The objective of this project is to prevent the selling of the agricultural areas and to avoid the illegal registration of the owned lands by using the forgery document with the implementation of the web application.
